That last one is neither a good nor bad thing if you like stealth over action, but for a blend, Wildlands does it better.Be connected to the Wildlands anywhere anytime with the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands HQ app for Android phones and tablets. Gameplay wise, I also have to say that while Wildlands has stealth as an option, and those aspects could maybe use some polishing in this game, in MGS V it was far more the point of the game. Wildlands implementation of 'go where you want, do things how you want' was far superior (note I didn't say perfect), aided by a narrative structure that didn't involve frequent exits of the AO and maps that didn't try to hem you in artificially.Īlso, the weapons customization system in MGS V, while extensive, was also far more clumsy and grindy than Wildlands, and the cosmetic options were far fewer. You can find weapons and attachments inside the weapon cases in all 21 provinces.

Ubisoft will update the current list of available weapons in the game with new additions, but there are still plenty of them for you to locate at this early stage.
But MGS V's open world didn't feel anywhere near as expansive as Wildlands, and for the most part felt like an empty, unpopulated sandbox (though I have to note I prefer it to the more linear arrangements of previous MGS games). Weapons play one of the most important roles in the world of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Don't get me wrong, great game, wish we had as many mechanical options in Wildlands as we did there. Strongly disagree that MGS V did everything better.
